Hello everyone! As you can see from the title, I have recently become a vegetarian. Occasionally, I will have fish (aka sushi because it is so good), but I've easily taken out all meats. It was a pretty intense transition if I'm being totally honest. I didn't cut all meat out of my diet immediately, but that part wasn't difficult since I'm not a fan of eating meat. The cravings is what was so hard.
It took me about a week to fully transition into a vegetarian. The first week I would have an egg in the morning, but by the end of that week I would have granola or fruit. Oh, and did I mention I love Chick Fil A?? Well, I do, but in APES (AP Environmental Science) we watched a few documentaries about where and what happens to our meat (the main reason why I became vegetarian).
A quick story, I was at my best friends house filming a video for my YouTube Channel and her mom asked us what we wanted from Chick Fil A! I ended up getting a salad that wasn't bad and we went back to filming. (video will hopefully be up next week!)
After 2 weeks of being a vegetarian, I found that I don't eat as much and when I do eat, I get full a lot faster. The only problem about eating so many vegetables, is that I have felt so bloated! If you have any recommendations I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them!!
Also, I have cut out a lot of dairy from my diet as well. The easy part was switching yogurts and I already use almond milk, so that wasn't a big deal. I haven't had cheese in so long which is weird because I absolutely love cheese and pizza!
I feel so much healthier, minus the bloating, but if you have any solutions to that please share!! haha
I hope you guys liked this post!!
XOXOX
