As we left at around 7:00 a.m. I was able to grab 3 movies, 1 book and my pillow. I've gone to my little sisters' camp before and I love it. I always think and say that it's a work camp because it's out in the wilderness. The campus is so beautiful. Last year I vlogged the experience picking up my little sister on my youtube channel.
When we got to the camp we went down a long pebbled dirt road and parked in a field where they have everyone go to park and drop everything off. As we parked we saw some horses! They were so pretty.
After we saw the horses, we went to the trail we had to go to sign in and find the right cabin.
(above) There was a little lake where the campers go and kayak a bit, I saw some campers on a little raft and thought that it was picture worthy for how cute it is. I always want to go to this camp because of how fun it looks and how amazing the scenery is.
I walked down this white pebbled path to try to find the cabin my mom and sister were in. As I was walking, I walked past what looked like a really scary jungle gym.
There are so many activities to try. There was this (above) that I'm not sure what they do, then there is biking, archery, horse back riding, kayaking, even tree climbing!
When I got to where the cabins were, there were signs pointing to where your cabin is (all of the cabins are in the forest too).
After going up the correct trail, I stopped to capture the wonders of nature. (below) I thought this tree was the most spectacular piece of nature I have seen so far. There was something about the green moss that was so captivating.
In the cabin the councilors laid out little pieces of wood from what looked like a limb of tree and some pieces of colorful string and some markers that the campers use as a name tag.
After we dropped my sister off, we headed to town where we ate at a really yummy place called Mayberry's Soups and Sandwich's.
After we parked, I noticed there was a dog just sitting outside of a store.
For lunch, I had the peanut butter sandwich with banana on cinnamon toasted bread and my mom had the turkey and brown rice soup.
It was such a pretty day out my mom and I ate outside. Now, our food might not too appetizing, but let me tell you it was SO GOOD!
When we were finished eating, we popped into the bakery to get a few treats.
(below) There was a little tiny bird who was outside gathering a few crumbs from the people outside eating. haha
I got the Blueberry Cheese Danish. I'm a fan plan cheese danishes so I decided to try something new. I saved to eat it on our way home and I thought it was so tasty.
I saw an antique store I wanted to go inside and check out. I'm a fan of old vintage styled items and this store was a little bit of both, modern and vintage.
(below) I fell in love with the three layered tin stand holder. I'm not quite sure what you call this contraption. If you know what it's called please comment below.
I thought this white tin holder looked like a crown for a prince haha.
There was a really pretty metal wired bird house with a tin bird hanging on top of a big red tin bow.
(above) You guys know how much I love inspiring quotes and at this store, there was a quote wall!! I couldn't help but take to a picture of it.
If you're able to read the quotes on the wall I would love to know what you favorite one is in the comments. Mine is "Every artist dips their brush into their own soul and paints."
XOXOX
