Hello friends! For my birthday my mom suggested we (my sisters, mom, and grandma) go to the lovely Ritz Carlton  for an afternoon tea tasting with scones and finger food! We had a blast and didn't want to leave! When we got there, the tables were set up so nicely. And our waiter was the best! He would constantly come over to our table and check up on us and refill our cups!

There were mini jams and creams! In the Afternoon Tea menu there were SO many teas to choose from that I got so excited and couldn't wait to try something new. My older sister chose the Vanilla Bean tea that was probably everyones favorite!

I probably took the longest to pick out a tea I wanted to try.

I loved how the menus looked! They were super cute. I felt very classy reading and just being at the Ritz!

The teas we chose were loose teas.

The first tea we had was the Vanilla Bean tea (it was so good!!!). When our mini sandwiches came we were ready to move on to another tea. My grandma had ordered the Orange Jasmine. I enjoyed that tea, but it wasn't my sisters cup of tea (haha had to do it for the pun). My favorite sandwich was the Cucumber with Dill and Lemon Ricotta Cream, and the Smoked Salmon and the American Cavier (which was amazing) Pumpernickel Bread with Cream Cheese.

Then, with our desserts, we had Himalayan Peak Darjeeling Organic, this was the tea that I picked out. I thought it tasted like a black tea, but there was a sweeter taste that I couldn't quite put into words. As far as desserts go, my favorite was the Lavender Puff Pastry along with the Strawberry Macaroons!

My highlight of the whole day was when my grandma gave me a surprise gift that was my great grandmas! It was a vintage necklace that is gorgeous! I am so thankful that it is now mine.

Along with surprises, our wonderful waiter came out with a chocolate mousse with raspberry and lemon cream on top! I'm not a fan of chocolate, but this mousse was to die for! There were flavored syrup that we were able to squeeze into the mousse and give it a raspberry and lemon taste!

As we were leaving, there was a cotton candy station!!! Now, I'm a sucker for ANYTHING sweet (probably not the best thing) and I jumped on the band wagon of getting one. This wasn't any ordinary cotton candy, there were so many flavorings that we could choose from.

My sister and I both wanted to try the strawberry and lavender cotton candy! OMG it was delicious!!!!
